Come and enjoy a tiny walled beer garden and an amazing opening roof in the middle of the pub
The Angel Inn snuggles onto one of Lichfield’s busiest streets and very much complements our famous local Joule’s Taphouse, the Duke of York. The Angel however is located just off the High Street, down Market Street right in the hub of the city centre. Pay and display parking can be found easily just a 5 minute walk away.
The Angel carries a rich heritage and is an important survivor of the small parlour pub. Carefully restored with cosy snugs and a hideaway that parlour pubs were so famous for, the Angel is bob on, home to an array of interesting memorabilia and of course an inviting real fire.
The Angel is very dog friendly, although there is a strict adult only policy. You can find a tiny walled beer garden to the rear of the pub and an amazing opening roof in the middle of the pub, the perfect winter and summer pub.
Always on Tap, Joule’s Pale Ale, Slumbering Monk, Pure Blonde and our English craft lager Green Monkey, alongside our rotating seasonal ale and cold craft beer. All brewed in Market Drayton with pure Shropshire mineral water.
Don’t Miss the Angel’s cheese board, perfect to pair with a pint of Joule’s Ale.
