Visit the best & biggest beer garden in Church Stretton
Church Stretton is an historic Market Town situated in the heart of the South Shropshire hills on the English/Welsh border known as the Marches. It is the only town in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The area is renowned worldwide for its geology, with some of the oldest rock formations in existence. Nestled in the picturesque town of Church Stretton you will find our Brewery Tap the Kings Arms just on the edge of the High Street.
The Kings Arms is a traditional country pub, with a central bar, log burner and leather bench seating.
The Joule’s restoration in 2018 reveals the original beams and more original character of the pub whilst adding some carefully sourced reclaimed materials, oak of course, mahogany and the best glass and leather we can lay our hands-on. A main focus of the restoration was to enhance the fantastic beer garden by making the best & biggest beer garden in Church Stretton even better and more accessible to the pub….
All Joule’s beers are available on the bar; Joule’s Pale Ale, Slumbering Monk, Pure Blonde and our English Craft Lager Green Monkey, alongside our rotating seasonal ale and cold craft beer. All brewed in Market Drayton with pure Shropshire mineral water.
