Cellar Training

We are very proud of our beer, and want to make sure you’ve got all the tools you need to ensure its kept at its best. Our team provides as many training sessions as needed in the cellar, covering:

  • Traditional stillage and cask widge systems
  • Line cleaning and glass renovation
  • Best practices for beer storage and service
  • Cellar training for your team members

Managed House Induction Days

Before taking on a pub tenancy, we offer hands-on experience in one of our managed houses The Red Lion in Market Drayton and Crown Wharf in Stone. This allows you to:

  • Experience a day in a Joule’s pub before taking on your own
  • Chat with our General Managers and our team members
  • Understand operational systems and processes used in our managed houses

Brewery and Session with the Brewers

We invite all new pub tenants to experience a Joule’s Brewery Tour, where you’ll learn about:

  • The rich history of Joule’s Brewery
  • The brewing process behind our award-winning beers
  • A tasting session with one of our expert brewers to deepen your understanding of our beers

Marketing and Social Media Training

Marketing plays a huge role in running a successful pub business. We provide:

  • Guidance on best marketing practices for pubs
  • Training on how to leverage social media marketing effectively
  • Tips on Facebook scheduling, customer engagement, and brand consistency

Financial Training

Understanding the financial side of running a pub is key to success. We will guide you through;
