As the darker nights have drawn in the festive season will soon be upon us. Joule’s Brewery has been busy over the last few weeks adding a little ‘sparkle’ back to the Butchers Arms, Forsbrook.
The re-opening is here.
The Butchers Arms, Forsbrook re-opened on Friday 22nd November, welcoming old familiar faces and some new to celebrate with a free pint of Joule’s Ale. The pub was repurchased in 2013 by local Brewers and has gone from strength to strength over the last five years.
Vicky Colclough, Brand Manager, adds ‘this Pub is a special site for us, it was out most significant investment back in 2013. It’s a thriving pub, and we felt it needed a little TLC. There are also some new special features added to our Forbrook Taphouse, such as a beautiful piece of specially commissioned stained glass to celebrate the Butchers Arm’s heritage.’
Joule’s Brewery works closely with Paul Georgio Master Craftsman on all stained glass commissions.
Rob Handy, Joule’s Head Brewer comments,’ It was a pleasure to work with the Chef’s and figure out what pairs well together; my personal favourite is the Pork Belly with a pint of our craft English lager Green Monkey – it’s a cracking combination’.The Butchers Arms also launched a new menu on Friday 22nd November which showcases local suppliers and traditional pub favourites such as Calves Liver and onion and the Taphouse favourite Butchers Burger. The Brewery has spent time working on the new menu to pair with their range of cask ales and craft beers.
The Butchers Arm’s is one of 44 Joule’s Brewery Taps, across Staffordshire, Shropshire, Cheshire and North Wales.
