We’re pleased to welcome Fran as the new landlady of the Offley Arms. As part of our Darwin Agreement, she’s taking on this exciting new role, and we’re looking forward to seeing her bring her own style and passion to the pub.

The Darwin Agreement is Joule’s Brewery’s unique programme designed to support talented individuals in taking on and running great pubs. It provides mentoring, training, and financial backing to help new landlords and landladies succeed. By joining the programme, Fran will have the full support of the brewery to maintain the Offley Arms as a thriving community pub, ensuring it remains a welcoming space for locals and visitors alike.

The Offley Arms has long been a well-loved part of the community, and with Fran at the helm, we’re excited about the next chapter. A soft launch is planned for the 21st of February, giving locals a first look at what’s to come. This will be followed by a big launch event on the 15th of March, where friends, locals, and supporters are invited to celebrate with Fran and mark the start of this exciting new chapter for the pub.

We’d also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Nicky and Lois for their hard work and commitment to the Offley. Their dedication and leadership have helped shape the pub, and their support in developing Fran for this next step has been invaluable. We wish them all the best for the future.

If you’re in the area, be sure to stop by, say hello, and raise a pint to Fran as she embarks on this journey.
