Crown Wharf is our flagship pub in the Joule’s Brewery estate, offering quality pub dining with a focus on exceptional beer, bold flavours, and a passion for fresh, locally sourced food.
We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Junior Sous Chef to join our growing kitchen team, supporting the Senior Sous and Head Chef in maintaining high standards and delivering exceptional food in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Sous & Head Chef in daily kitchen operations.
- Take responsibility for sections during busy service periods.
- Ensure all prep is done efficiently, reducing waste and maintaining consistency.
- Work with fresh, seasonal ingredients, ensuring high standards in every dish.
- Assist with stock management, ordering, and kitchen organization.
- Support in training junior team members and apprentices.
- Maintain excellent hygiene & food safety standards.

What We’re Looking For:
- Experienced CDP or Junior Sous Chef – At least 1-2 years in a similar fresh food kitchen.
- Eager to Learn & Develop – This role offers strong progression opportunities.
- Interested in Beer & Food Pairings – Joule’s Brewery pubs are crafted around great beer and great food!
