It’s time to think about holidays and warm places – to get you in the mood for summer and sunshine the brewing team at Joule’s have created an IPA bursting with tropical fruit. Reflecting the taste of Hawaii, the brewers have used New Zealand Rakau hops for papaya and passion fruit flavours and added pineapple and mango to make your journey complete.
Over the last couple of months, the brewers at Joule’s have let us take a glimpse inside their sketchbook in creating a series of experimental limited edition pop up brews. The latest in the series, Hawaii Five-Joe, features aromas of tropical fruit and zesty hops which burst from the beer with malty and fruity sweetness giving way to balanced bitterness and a lingering pineapple and mango finish. The beer has been a great success across the Joule’s heartland of Shropshire, Staffordshire and Cheshire but as it’s limited edition they may not have all been able to get their hands on it.
The last barrel of Hawaii Five-Joe has now left the Market Drayton Brewery so won’t be around on the bar for much longer. To find your nearest pint of Hawaii Five-Joe take a look at the Joule’s pub list to see where you will visit this weekend.
We wonder what the Joule’s brew team will come up with next? Keep a close eye on their facebook page @joulesbrewery for any updates.
