Ye Olde Rose and Crown, nestled in the historic heart of Stafford, has become a local gem with its lively atmosphere and distinctive charm. Led by warm and welcoming Dylan.
Dylan’s passion for the Rose and Crown shines through in every aspect of the operation, whether that’s in every pint poured or every conversation shared.
“Hosting events is one of my favorite parts of the job,” Dylan shares. “Our live music nights really bring the community together, and there’s nothing like the energy of a full house enjoying great music.” But for Dylan, it’s about more than just the entertainment. “What I love most,” he adds with a smile, “are the connections I’ve built with my regulars. It’s like catching up with friends every day.”
Known as one of Stafford’s premier venues for live music, Ye Olde Rose and Crown stands out with its eclectic lineup and welcoming vibe. Last year, Dylan was crowned ‘Live Music Legend’ at the Joule’s Brewery Taphouse Awards—a well-deserved recognition of his commitment to creating unforgettable nights at the pub.
“We’ve got bands queuing up to play here,” Dylan reveals proudly. Adding to its appeal, the pub’s close partnership with the local theatre offers a special treat for show-goers.
“If you’re heading to the theatre, bring your ticket in for a free half pint on the night of the performance. It’s not unusual to find the cast enjoying a post-show drink here too!”

When asked to describe his pub in three words, Dylan sums it up perfectly:
“Good Beer & Music.”
