After 8 years at the pub (where does time fly) Leanne and the Team at the Angel Inn, Lichfield have been treated to a mini-pub sparkle
Nestled on Market Street in the centre of Lichfield the Angel Inn is a beer drinkers’ sweatshop for locals and tourists alike.
Leanne originally joined the Joule’s family over eight years ago taking on her first tenancy at the Angel Inn. Today, Leanne and her now Husband Andy stand proudly at the helm of both Lichfield Taphouses, The Angel Inn and the Duke of York. Leanne is no stranger locally, taking up positions on many boards and groups locally with a strong role within the local community making both pubs a real asset to the city as well as the Joule’s estate.
After years of hard work, the Angel has just undergone a joule’s ‘sparkle’ closing for a short period whilst the full Joule’s team descends on the pub to treat it to some well-deserved TLC. I’m sure those who joined Leanne for her reopening evening will agree that the pub is looking better than ever.
“What a fabulous evening… Thank you to everyone that came to see us and check out our ‘Sparkle’, it’s been a crazy 10 days and it’s so nice to be back open… Thank you to Joule’s Brewery for the fabulous freshen up, even if we do say so the pub looks absolutely amazing. A massive thank you to the teams here and at our sister pub Duke of York Lichfield… We managed to re-open tonight just in time! Now it’s time for the weekend, with our Rewired Indie night tomorrow and the brilliant Rob Perry back with us Saturday… Cheers!”
If you are nearby the pub is well worth a visit, keep up to date with their weekly events and seasonal specials on their Facebook page.
