Trudie Meredith, Marketing Controller for the Brewery commented, ‘this is the largest sponsorship yet for the Brewery and our plans are well underway for this exciting weekend.  The festival provides us with not only a great opportunity to make lots of noise about our new and exciting craft beers, but is also a brilliant community experience. We are busy planning an exciting ‘warm up’ event at the Red Lion Brewery Tap for the Easter weekend with festival headliners Hipster along with local musician Jody Jennings, who is also part of the festival team.  The day will provide an opportunity to win festival day and weekend tickets, festival t-shirts and beer vouchers’.

With an exciting line up planned with high quality music, ranging from rock, pop, ska and flamenco, headline acts include Doctor & the Medics, Hipster & ACDC tribute band Live Wire to name but a few.

Very much a community driven event, bringing local businesses together, additional sponsors AR Richards, Sandbrook Vaults and Events company EMCDEurope all come together to create a fantastic festival promoting Shropshire’s rich musical heritage.  Andrew, Operations Director of AR Richards commented ‘we are very proud to be associated with this superb event and look forward to working on this annual festival over the coming months putting Market Drayton on the map'.
