Joule's Brewery Supports Town's Christmas Fun Run

Joule’s Brewery is delighted to announce its participation in Market Drayton’s first ever  Christmas ‘Fun Run,’ the Joule’s TURKEY TROT.  The event will take  place on Sunday 15th December at the Brewery.

 

Working hard over the past months with Mark Stevens, from Fix Auto Market Drayton, and Tim Beckett, Town Major and organiser of the Market Drayton 10K,  Joule’s will host the Fun Run  with  the start and finish line outside the Brewery Tap, The Red Lion and the day is sure to be a fun filled Christmas event for all to enjoy, making sure that it is supported with  charitable Christmas spirit, spread through the whole of the town.

The 5K trot (3.1 Miles) which can be walked or ran through the historic town of Market Drayton, will leave the Brewery at 11am. All particpants are encouraged to dress in festive attire for the occasion, with the proceeds of the event to be donated to The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital Children’s Lukaemia Ward, a worthy charity close to eveybody’s hearts.

The route also takes those who par-take past Joule’s pubs Sandbrook Vaults and The Lord Hill, where they will find plenty of refreshments and ecouragement. The run will finish back at the Red Lion Brewery Tap where prizes, which include donations from Shepley’s Butchers and Joule’s beer will await the runners, along with festive treats and entertainment throughout the afternoon.

With a limited amount of space,s it is important that any willing participants sign up as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Entry on the day may be possible but of course, will be subject to availability as spaces are filling up quickly. Entry forms can be found behind the bar at The Red Lion or from Fix Auto Market Drayton.
