Two Joules Pubs re open The Royal oak Eccleshall and Ye Olde Rose & Crown Stafford.
It seems a long time coming but we have finally brought these two great Staffordshire pubs back to their best and in Joules colours.
Firstly apologies to anyone who keeps an eye on our site, I was greatly humbled to note we haven't updated our news page since June. My new resolution to is update this page every month just in case there is anyone out there who likes to keep abreast of our news!
No excuses but it has been a busy period, we re opened The Royal Oak in Eccleshall which was a hugly demanding scheme but it has been so well recieved it was really worth the effort. We welcomed Eccleshalls 41 club to the brewery on the 21st who found thier way there courtesy of the Oak - we had a great evening which could only have happened by the pub telling the story of Joules which stimulated thier interest, great stuff.
The Oak was joined by Ye Olde Rose & Crown which re opened last week and so far the comments have been great, Shaun our man who runs the newest tap already looks like a comfy pair of shoes [you know what I mean]. To have a tap in Stafford is great progress, Stafford is part of our core trading area and its good to be able to showcase the beers in such an accessible location. Pictures will be on the pub page any day now.
In the brewery Adam has been working hard keeping up with demand for the three beers each is growing steadily, in October the Sales team enjoyed a few beers to celebrate 100 outlets selling Joules - our permenant stockists. We also finally comitted to all our stockists that we will only sell our beer locally rather than nationwide so Joules is unique to our Staffordshire, Shropshire and Cheshire enclave, we will only sell direct to the pub cellar a promise to all our pub partners to add to our commitment to brewing just cask ale and never bottling. If Adam looks a little pale he is building stock for Christmas so the beer is not rushed and in our 'quality' window ready for a little Christmas cheer.
And finally, we are in discusions to add a couple more pubs to our small estate - to make up for my dismal reporting I will post it on this page first!
