Newcastle Town Football club look to mark the start of a fresh chapter with their new main sponsor Joule’s Brewery. JOULE’S BREWERY INVEST IN CODSALL VILLAGE PUB

Joule’s Brewery takes control of The Crown Hotel, Codsall on Wednesday 30th September. The freehold site has been acquired from Stonegate in an off market deal and is Joule’s biggest investment to date. The company plans to invest £275k in the refurbishment of the pub, its most ambitious pub scheme to date. Following a careful restoration The Crown Hotel, will re-open as a fully-fledged Joule’s Tap House in March 2016 and will be Joule’s 40th Freehold pub.

JOULE'S LAUNCH FIRST COLD SEASONAL BEER

Buffalo is the first in our carefully crafted collection of cold beer Seasonals. Buffalo is Brewery fresh, with no additives or preservatives and is naturally carbonated.

Buffalo is an American Pale Ale, also known as an APA.  It is America’s version of a traditionally English Pale developed back in 1980’s. Traditional APA’s generally sit between 5-5.5% with significant quantities of BIG American Hops and it is the American Hops that distinguish an APA from British or European Pale Ale.

HMS Majestic’ Historical Painting Finds its Rightful Home

A unique celebration took place on Wednesday 29th April at the Mainwairing Arms, Whitmore to officially unveil a commissioned painting of HMS Majestic, placing it back in its rightful home.

JOULE'S BREWERY INVESTS IN NEWPORT PUB

Joule’s Brewery has closed The New Inn on 5th January 2015 in order to undertake its most ambitious pub scheme to date.

The brewery bought the pub in the autumn and after consultations with locals will be refurbishing the pub. Builders started at 8.00am today stripping out the pub and preparing for an extension which will more than double the size of the 17th century inn.

Joule’s Brewery has re-opened the Crown Inn which has not been in Joule’s colours since 1974.  The brewery now based in Market Drayton has also today announced the Sponsorship of Silverdale Athletic for a four year period, both as team sponsor for the senior sides and also Joule’s has become the first club sponsor after the opening of the new Kents Lane club house by Lord John Prescott last week. Joule's Brewery has today announced it has purchased the Kings Arms in Church Stretton from Punch Taverns. THE KINGS ARMS s an ancient and listed building, unchanged in Church Stretton and specialising in real ale for over three centuries. The Inn is a quaint pub and boasts the biggest garden in Church Stretton and has always been a popular destination for locals and also walkers at the tourist hot spot.

THE DOLPHIN, Shrewsbury which was purchased following the approach of a beer enthusiast by Joule’s Brewery, Market Drayton at the end of last year  is due to re-open its doors early August, following a full refurbishment.  The pub has been undergoing extensive restoration and local craftsmen have been busy reinstating the old bar and small snugs.

Joule's Brewery to open beautifully restored parlour pub, The Mere Inn

THE MERE INN, Alsager is on the brink of re-opening its doors having been bought by a local brewer.  Joule’s Brewery based in nearby Market Drayton bought the inn in the autumn of 2011 and have restored the pub.  It has been the company’s longest ever scheme due to the complexity of obtaining planning permission for an extension.

A really big thank you to the Rock and Bowl team, we were invited this year for the frist time to the first two days of the festival and were blown away - just brilliant, really proud to be a part of it.  We will plough back all the proceeds into next years festival when we hope to be invited back.  Plus apologies to anyone disapointed when we ran out of beer in the evening, it was hard not to look a bit sheepish when you could even see the brewery tower from the festival.  We thought we had enough reserves and we won't make the same mistake again!

Despite the cold we have continued to make good progress. Chris, Mick and Tony must have anti freeze in the blood as they have been working away in some seriously cold and wet weather.
